Accessing IPv4 only hosts via IPv6

Posted on 2021-02-28 by ungleich

In the second ungleich tech talk you can find out how to access IPv4 only devices from the IPv6 Internet using a simple NAT64 translator.

This is especially helpful if you are by default in IPv6 only networks, but you still have legacy-only networks or legacy-only devices that you need to access.

In this ungleich tech talk we use the VIWIB as a NAT64 translator and a reconfigured VIGIR as an IPv4 only demo device.

If you have any questions, feel free to join the IPv6 chat.
